Personality:
Tech is a genius, a technician and inventor who enjoys nothing more than to build things that are beneficial to himself and others. He loves the feeling of testing his newest gadgets and the satisfaction of seeing them work as they were meant to. He doesn't like when his things are touched without his permission or for selfish meaningless purposes, and he's not going to sell his gadgets for money because that's not his thing. If damaged or destroyed he'll greatly lament the loss almost as greatly as he would a friend because he loves his inventions greatly, and he can't stand the idea of someone sabotaging them or using them for evil. He can appreciate natural ability, but he knows that a useful piece of technology can make things go a lot easier.

He borders on overconfident in his intelligence but doesn't wave it around outside of it actually being relevant to the moment, such as when a gadget works flawlessly or being asked if he can do something well within his abilities...or when conceding that someone's abilities actually exceed his considerable one. He does very much dislike the implications of people being smarter than him without anything to back it up. He's not a glory-hog but he likes to receive credit where it's due and dislikes having his contribution underplayed, especially because he's perfectly capable of giving due credit or asking for help when he needs it. Unless someone does something that irks him greatly or that makes them deserve it, he also doesn't belittle others for being less intelligent or less capable. He can even admit the brilliance of something done by an enemy, even when it's detrimental to him personally.

Despite being almost a stereotypical nerd in many ways, he doesn't fit the bill fully. He isn't socially awkward and is well-socialized, able to kick back and hang out with his friends as well as interact naturally with people he's never met or doesn't know well. When talking, and especially when explaining or answering in regards to technical things, Tech may forget that the average person can't follow his terminology, but he can and does tend to give the response fitting the subject and no more unless it's actually needed. Pointless rambling of any kind that exceeds what anyone needed to hear tends to annoy him easily and if possible he will cut it off. He's not overly talkative but he's perfectly capable of speaking his mind on anything in any situation and will do so when he feels the need to. He's also not above refusing to do anything he really doesn't want to be bothered with, but the right combination of begging, stroking his ego, and other persuasion might make him at least take pity and agree.

If he's respected as a person then he will respond in kind, if not...it depends on the situation but he tries to at least keep a little bit of a civil attitude. He may just stay out of the interaction without leaving or try to go elsewhere, or he may keep a deceptively calm act going on or refuse to be baited at all. It's not hard to annoy him, but it is somewhat difficult to actually make him angry and moreso to lose his temper. Aside from unwanted rambling, messing with or sabotaging his gadgets, or downplaying his contributions to being worthless, his pet peeves are: people who don't know him being blatantly rude without a reason, being constantly called a dog or likened to one, people calling him brainy names as an insult, having his work interrupted, and obnoxious noises. Constant disrespect is the main way to anger him, but hurting anything he is emotionally close to will do the trick pretty fast as well. He has little to no respect at all for evildoers, no matter how competent they may be, and doesn't hold back on the verbal jabs at them.

Tech is usually very patient and a pretty mature guy. He's laid back and enjoys his downtime, when he has it, as much as he enjoys inventing, and has even come to enjoy simple things like meditating. Being a mostly average person he probably wouldn't pass up a book or magazine that interests him or a TV show or movie. He doesn't seem too interested in finding a significant other, but that's likely a combination of his occupation with inventing and the lack of free time. He isn't totally above squabbling over different opinions or clashing desires, and he can be apathetic to some plights of others if they not serious and were brought on because that person deserved it. When it comes to most confrontation Tech's best weapons are his brains, gadgets, and wit. He doesn't seem to like physical combat, but he can jump into the fray if he has to. His physical build shows he does believe in at least some physical and endurance training.

As a Loonatic, Tech has several traits that help him live up to his title of a hero. He is brave and has a strong sense of moral obligation, making it nearly impossible to tempt him into doing evil willingly. It also means he is not in it for fame or glory, and definitely not for riches since they don't get paid for their service. His ingenuity and the ability to think up tactics on the fly are fairly high, as well as his powers of deduction when it comes to the technical plans of others. He is selfless enough to put himself in harm's way to protect others when they can't or when his suffering at least has a positive payoff somehow, though he really dislikes pain. He's got great determination and is hard to deter when the stakes are high, and can usually keep a cool head in tougher situations. He's not fearless though and does get scared when in danger or can show cowardice on rare occasion, as well as underestimate and be caught off guard by the enemy.

Tech is a team player who looks out for his teammates and friends, without being a doormat or pretending that he sees no flaws between them. He gives what he gets, but doesn't let sore feelings interfere when he's really needed. It's unknown whether his time with his teammates has had any major effect on his character.

Abilities, Strengths and Weaknesses:
Tech is an anthropomorphic coyote with a fit physical build. He's not muscly or in possession of superhuman strength or agility, but he's on par with the average active person and able to sprint, dodge, do flips, jump with good agility, climb ropes, etc. Considering his line of work and the fact that he is often in fighting stances in the face of an enemy, it's likely that he's been given at least some minor training in physical combat. though not to the same extent as what's used by Ace, Lexi, and Slam. He can be overpowered, outrun, etc.

Tech's main power allows him to control the magnetism of objects, most metal, to move them to or away from himself, throw them, take apart or put together, move or stop them in other directions, or otherwise bend them to his will. He was also shown to generate a field which protected him from falling meteorites and later a fuller one that protected him from the direct hit from energy blasts. Despite the fact that he seems to be able to do this with almost anything, larger objects require more effort and something moving powerfully could potentially be unstoppable especially if he were suspended in midair or in the water with nothing to give him the extra grounding he'd need. When using his powers or when really worked up, Tech's eyes glow green.

His other superpower is molecular regeneration. Tech can take massive amounts of damage, even to the point of being reduced to ashes, and within a moment be completely fine again. This makes him extremely hard to kill and impossible to permanently disable him, because as long as something is left and he can account for his whole body then it will reform in perfect condition. He is not in any way immune to pain or unconsciousness though and it does take a moment for the regeneration to activate, but once activated it takes less than a minute to complete. His uniform may also be constructed of a material that responds to this power to regenerate as well, so it wouldn't affect ordinary clothes.

As stated already, Tech is a genius inventor, capable of creating useful items from whatever is on-hand. The level of tech is directly affected by what he had to work with, but unlike his ancestor Wile E. Coyote, his inventions almost always work how they were meant to. Extremely advanced or large items can take him at least a few hours to a day, but he can whip out smaller or simpler ones in a matter of seconds, minutes, or hours. The fact the invention works does not mean that outside interference can't screw things up or damage them however.

Tech didn't think that he'd ever been anywhere so underdeveloped without being properly prepared. The fact that his being here at all was completely out of his hands aside, but he hadn't immediately panicked over that despite how unsettling it was. A quick inspection of his person had revealed that his communicator was removed from his costume's wrist and everything that could be considered a weapon had been taken as well. That didn't sit well with him at all. Someone had taken his babies who knew where and he didn't know that they weren't being misused or disassembled in addition to being out of his reach.

Rubbing the back of his neck, the coyote stopped in the street and looked around. So far his scouting of the area hadn't turned up anything particularly useful. Really just a cellphone, an outdated one at that, but maybe if he could get at least some basic tools he could make it more useful. Tools would make everything a bit less over his head actually. He could fashion a weapon in case he needed it, because in a place this low-tech it was possible that any trouble he met was unarmed or using something that he couldn’t face bare-handed. He wasn’t Ace, Lexi, or Slam after all and had limits to what he could handle.

In the meantime, he was still pretty stumped, having not yet bumped into anyone despite this place showing some obvious signs of being lived in. It felt like he had arrived after an entire population had been whisked away, and the thought made his fur prickle unpleasantly. Where was everyone and what had happened here? He needed answers, and he needed a way to reach his friends, the sooner the better. This didn’t feel like the type of place he wanted to loiter. It just didn’t.

Tech is a team player who looks out for his teammates and friends, without being a doormat or pretending that he sees no flaws between them. He gives what he gets, but doesn't let sore feelings interfere when he's really needed. It's unknown whether his time with his teammates has had any major effect on his character, but he seems to have a fairly specific dynamic with most of them.

Ace he acknowledges as leader without question and trusts him enough to follow his orders immediately, and he gets along with him with no major differences in opinion and no strain to their friendship. By the same token he offers whatever Ace needs of him at any given time and is more tolerant of the fact that Ace sometimes can't be bothered to dissect his tech-speak because Ace takes his word seriously. It was also Ace who introduced him to meditating.

Despite being a coyote, he has nothing against roadrunners and generally gets along well with Rev who is almost on par with him intellectually and the one he spends the most time with. Rev is the one he relies on for technical assistance, but his tendency to go into high speed rambles grates on Tech's nerves. Sometimes he lets someone else stop the talking, but often he closes Rev's beak by whatever means he has available at the moment. His occasional squabbles with the roadrunner are usually minor and have to do with science or leadership, but don't really interfere with their ability to work effectively together or their level of trust.

With Duck, Tech is often irked by his need to appear greater than he is. He usually pays this little mind, but like everyone on the team he sometimes feels the need to knock Duck down a peg or two. This is especially true when Duck is being really condescending to him. He still cares enough about Duck to help him out or to support him when he needs it though and would be upset if anything seriously bad ever happened to him.

Slam he respects for his power and loyalty, but he doesn't have much in common with him. They're friends and he watches out for and relies on the Tasmanian devil, but finds his eating habits atrocious and since Slam eats often he doesn't often hang around him. He has no tolerance for Slam's tendency to eat other people's food if not deterred either. But he still works well with him on missions despite that.

Lexi he treats the same as he would anyone else on the team despite her being the only girl. He acknowledges her as an equal and as second-in-command so he doesn't argue when she's in charge and gives her the same support he would Ace. They don't hang out much and he's not shown any attraction to her, but they're good friends and when they do hang out there are no problems.

Zadavia is the boss and Tech always is respectful around her. She seems to favor him on occasion and he enjoys having her approval, but it's debatable whether there's anything deeper than that trust and friendship that he shares with the whole team. He's very protective of her like his teammates, but doesn't go out of his way to impress or hold her attention.

One episode showed that the Loonatics' powers may work differently under water, but it's unknown whether or not Tech's are affected because he hasn't been shown to use them there. But it's likely that his regeneration would be unaffected, and as water has very little affect on magnetism that power would be unchanged as well.

takesonefortheteam: (Genius at work.)
Very little of Tech's pre-Loonatic backstory is known. But he apparently grew up on the city-planet of Acmetropolis and has likely lived there his entire life. It can be assumed that he grew up as a fairly normal kid with a loving family and dreams of inventing great gadgets. He likely also was a straight A student because of his high intelligence.

He attended college at Acmetropolis University, almost definitely pursuing a degree in technical science and trying to demonstrate his genius to the world. While presenting his senior thesis, disaster struck. The professor he was presenting to grew impatient while Tech was making the final adjustments to his machine and decided to start it up himself, but he wasn't listening to Tech and pressed the self-destruct button Tech had installed for extra credit and his project did just that. Stumbling outside, he was subjected to a short berating by the irate professor and laid lamenting the fact that his machines did work if given the proper chance. Seconds later a meteor struck Acmetropolis, knocking the city-planet off its axis. Directly exposed to the energy blast that followed, Tech was granted superpowers as a direct result. How soon he figured this out is also unknown.

Also during his time there, he tutored and shared a locker with a fellow student, named Mallory Casey, in one of her science projects designed to enhance brain waves. Just before she activated the machine for demonstration, Tech learned that her device would actually enhance her own intelligence by draining the attending staff members of theirs. With no time to call the authorizes first he quickly sabotaged her machine and it malfunctioned, resulting in her head enlarging, and then had her arrested. This may be the event that gained him a position as a Loonatic in the Loonatics as it was stated that it happened right before Zadavia recruited them.

In the less than a year between becoming a Loonatic and episode one, Tech's become the chief technician and co-strategist, and has developed technology that benefits the entire city-planet...among them the Acme Supercomputer, which is the most advanced system on the planet. He's also become used to his new friends and their various habits, including Rev Runner who he has no problems around despite them supposed to be natural enemies.

In episode one, the Loonatics' downtime was interrupted by the arrival of a glacier cold enough to freeze Acmetropolis in the middle of a heatwave. Tech devised a weapon to deal with the problem, but for some reason it failed. Once the glacier was successfully melted, it revealed a ship full of robot vikings who attempted to freeze and conquer the city. When confronting and shipwrecking the Viking vessel, they realized it had been a decoy while the Vikings froze the power core. Tech also realized the horns on the Viking helmets was what powered them. While the Loonatics fought the Vikings, Tech rewired one of them and used the power to help thaw the core, but the damage resulted in him disintegrating.

Episode two started with him working on a device in the training room, but nearly being zapped by it when Slam crashed into it. Zadavia contacted them because a large mutant spider was on the rampage. They where able to contain it on a bridge they made a makeshift cage, but it seemed to vanish and Duck found one of the popular and very hard to get new Biopets, called a Fuz-Z, in its place. Deciding that the odds of this being a coincidence, estimated at well over four million by Tech, were too unlikely they planned to have it tested, but it and Lexi's got into Duck's backpack and ate his chocolate energy bars, causing them to mutate temporarily into formidable monsters. Thankfully they returned to normal quickly, but with most of Acmetropolis in possession of Fuz-Zs and chocolate just as common they needed to collect them all quickly and warn their creator just in case.

Tech employed a super vacuum, that he'd actually designed with cleaning up after Slam in mind, and worked with Ace, Slam, and Rev to collect all of the Biopets while Duck and Lexi went to see their creator. When Lexi couldn't be reached, they went to the laboratory where they fought the professor and his monsters, defeating him and releasing the Fuz-Zs back into the chasm they were originally found in where they couldn't be experimented on anymore or hurt anyone.

Episode three, Ace introduced Tech to meditation, which he took to easily until Duck's obnoxious ringtone annoyed him. Duck, unable to call and order a new cape for his costume because of lack of phone signal, decided he was through with technology. Not believing Duck could last even a week without any technology, Tech made him a bet: if Duck went the week then he'd buy him the costume and the boots...if not, Duck bought them for Tech. Zadavia contacted them about a techno-thief calling herself Black Velvet and they set out to stop her. In pursuing her, Tech was kidnapped from the Loonatics' jet because she needed him to build he Shroudcaster and plunge the city into darkness. When he refused she simply took over his free will and forced him to complete it anyway. Duck brought him back to his senses with that ringtone and they stopped Black Velvet, after which Tech ordered the costume and had it charged to Duck since he'd lost the bet by using his phone.

Episode four started with Tech overseeing Ace and Slam's repair of the tower satellite so Duck would stop complaining about missing his show. Bad weather rolled in and TV's most conceited forecaster fell out of the sky onto their roof. After learning where she'd blown in from, the Loonatics went to investigate and were confronted by Weather Vane, a young woman with control over the weather.

They faced her attacks and withstood them all, including Tech using a lightning rod to take an attack for his friends, then had to save a monorail from crashing into floodwaters. Weather Vane vanished out to see and they found her just as she became a large storm dragon. Needing to evaporate the cloud creature, they lured her to a volcano and triggered an eruption, successfully dispelling the dragon...but sacrificing his newly built portalab as well.

Episode five there was huge earthquake and a mountain appeared in the city. Being on his break, Tech had quickly made a model of the city complete with a monorail that ran on time...which he called a rush job, in an attempt to figure out what was going on. Even though he hadn't been able to determine what sort of geometric movement could push a mountain up in town, he did know exactly who Zadavia was talking about when she appeared to tell them who was behind this as well as the item stolen by the culprit. He also developed the subterranean vehicle needed to travel quickly underground.

When a sudden stop led to Lexi being abducted and the others fighting off rock monsters, Tech did a scan of the creatures before using himself as a conduit for reroute power needed to jump-start the vehicle so he could turn them to rubble. When they reached the Jade Serpent crystal being used to turned their world inside out Tech told them how to reverse the effects and after Ace managed to petrify Dr. Dre Tech used the crystal to reverse the damage.

Episode six marked the one year anniversary of the day that the meteor had hit Acmetropolis, in which the Loonatics were receiving an award for their service to the city. The ceremony was interrupted by a dangerous meteor shower, with Tech being the first to realize that's what it was. As soon as they protected the ceremony audience and the mayor from the debris, Tech got to work and learned the incoming meteor was over five hundred times bigger than the one that struck last year, big enough to wipe the planet out. Zadavia appeared to give them the all important task of destroying the meteor and Tech got to work making the preparations they'd need for the journey including a spaceship.

Something shorted out the ship as they exited the planet, but Tech had Rev use the on board computer to get what they needed to regain control before they could crash. An asteroid belt attacked them next, and finally, Tech's amplifier for Ace's laser did nothing to destroy the meteor, even though he designed it to amplify the laser by a google. With no other options, they landed on the meteor to set explosive charges at strategic points to blow it up and succeeded despite the interference of some suspicious cosmic energy...and Tech getting blown up because of it.

Episode seven a galactic oddity from the circus found its way into the tower and in returning it they were attacked by other oddities before finding a computer that when Tech accessed it revealed all the oddities to be humans spliced with various animals. Captured right after, they were subjected to the same treatment and even though Tech destroyed the machine they were altered and powers were swapped. Tech wound up with Rev's speed and used it to disabled the Ringmaster and repair the machine in the form of a glove that let him return everyone to normal, including Zadavia who was the oddity they found at the tower. It turned out that the sidekick was really the villain when he mutated the ringleader to fight them, but when the glove was destroyed Tech told the team they could force him to revert with a sonic boom created from their combined powers. When the pair tried to flee, he captured them neatly with his recently-made goo gun.

Episode eight a gravity-manipulating criminal called Massive began to rob Acmetropolis blind. He escaped the first confrontation with an extremely valuable item, so they tried to set up a sting. Massive almost sent Tech, Ace, Lexi, Rev, and Slam to the moon, but Duck, who had all of their weight, managed to retrieve them and Tech managed to revert their gravity to normal. Then they came up with a proper plan based on their improved understanding of Massive's power and goal. The Basherball trophy was his next target and Tech designed a pair of cuffs that could neutralize Massive's powers. He was taken out, but Ace picked up the slack and captured the criminal.

Episode nine Tech stayed home while Rev and Ace went to the Basherball championship, but when they came back their powers were gone with no explanation. When Lexi, Slam, and Duck went on a mission, only Duck still had his powers because the others had been touched by a power-stealing glory-hound who had used Ace's powers to cause the disaster in the first place. In confronting him, Tech and Duck had their powers stolen as well but Ace reasoned they could face him with their natural abilities. To aid them, Tech designed nano suits which could mimic and exploit their stolen powers. They confronted Sypher in his home and were able to get their powers back.

Episode ten, the Loonatics found themselves in a time loop that they were semi-aware of when Dr. Fidell Kroniker tries to aid them in trying to stop his grandson, who had stolen/would steal a powerful military robot and over the course of five repeats of that day the Loonatics were unable to stop him because he used manipulation of time to stay ahead of them until he could board the robot.

When Tech realized time manipulation was involved he directed the others about asking Dr. Kroniker for help, at which point they found out about the time loop and the fact that he'd been trying to reach them over the past five days of loop, with Duck blowing him off each time. He helped them devise a plan before resetting time once more. Tech got the message and the plans, seeming unsurprised as he passed the message on to Ace, but this could have easily been because it was too early in the morning to find it and the sense of deja vu unusual at all. This time they had their plan sent to them from their future selves and were able to set a successful trap.

Episode eleven Mallory, now Mallory Mastermind, escaped her prison and sought revenge on Tech. The Loonatics confronted her outside the prison, where she had the robots in the area attack them while she infiltrated the tower, taking control and sabotaging Tech's precious gadgets to turn against them all.

Tech's hacking and knowledge of where they could and couldn't be monitored got them out of a hot situation, though not without him being burnt to a crisp, and they escaped into the ventilation where he could safely tell them about the EMP generator that could render Mastermind's powers over technology useless. He, Duck, and Ace attempted to get the drop on her by coming up through the virtual training simulator, but it was also rigged to attack and Tech went after her alone, fully fed up. He used his ingenuity to battle her and stalled until Rev, Lexi, and Slam could active the generator. Then he wrapped things up and she was returned to prison.

Episodes twelve and thirteen began with the escape of Mastermind, Sypher, Massive, and Weather Vane under Duck's watch. Ace allowed Duck to go look for them to keep him occupied, sending Rev along to keep an eye on him, while Tech searched for any unusual activity on the planet. Finding trouble at the zoo, they found Sypher alone, but were ambushed by the other three when they went to arrest him and captured. Mastermind reconstructed her prison to contain the four of them as well as keep Sypher from draining their powers before leaving him to guard them.

Duck and Rev came to the rescue but Sypher was able to get Duck's powers, forcing Rev to abandon trying to crack the prison code to keep the rest of them from having their powers stolen again. Under pressure, Tech realized he knew the code and directed Duck in punching it in. The other villains returned as well and while the Loonatics tried to hold their ground they had to retreat, Tech ensuring they reached the surface despite Massive trying to bring down the elevator. They were followed, but the one behind everything appeared and whisked the villains away...along with Duck when he tried to get his powers back.

Zadavia came to them in person, revealing that it was her brother that was their enemy this time. They learned that the meteor that gave them their powers was an attempt to destroy Zadavia, and that her interference was both what saved the planet that year ago and what gave rise to the supervillains that rose alongside the heroes. She was able to show them where her brother was so they could find Duck, and even gave them use of her much more advanced ship to save Tech some work. Tech of course was extremely curious to learn about the technology of the planet she came from.

They reached the planetoid, but were ambushed by other ships. Zadavia was captured trying to assist them and Tech, Slam, and Lexi tried to save her but failed. The ship was also destroyed, but Rev and Ace escaped unharmed at the last minute. On the planetoid, they worked together to free Zadvia with Duck who had escaped on his own, while Tech was able to relocate a wormhole that would have sucked up Acmetropolis to suck up the planetoid instead. Zadavia's brother was banished into another wormhole and the Loonatics returned home to capture the escped supervillains.

Episode fourteen is a very minor one for Tech, whose main contribution was to track a wormhole-transporting runaway train.

Episode fifteen started out as the Loonatics enjoying some downtime while testing a boat Tech had just built. But after something nearly caused them to crash into an ocean liner, the larger boat was trapped by a whirlpool and the passengers evacuated via lifepods, making it lucky they'd been there.

It appeared that the sea mammals were the culprits, responsible for sinking many man-made objects and even small islands especially a small pod of dolphins that was always on the scene watching. Tech designed communicators to speak with them, but they attacked Ace and the others and Ace went missing. Later the whales sank an island and then tried to sink Acmetropolis.

While Lexi and Duck searched for Ace, he and the others tried to stop the whirlpool, but a whale ate Rev and Slam. Duck and Lexi returned with Ace and then stopped the mutant dolphins from controlling the whales, allowing the leader to be captured and their friends to be saved.

Episode sixteen is another mostly minor one for Tech, beginning with the Loonatics rounding up the prehistoric animals from the retro petting zoo during which he notices that someone had deliberately released all of the animals into the city. By the time the finished, Duck and Slam had been convinced to sign a contract for Slam to fight in the Max Arena. It turned out that these were illegal fights to the death though, and the remaining Loonatics realized they had to get Slam before he did die. They infiltrated the arena to save him, but it was actually Slam's quick thinking that got them out.

Episode seventeen began with a late night attack on the tower. Everyone minus Duck worked to defend their home and drive away the attacker. Zadavia arrived with the assignment of escorting the royal Tweetums to the planet Blanc so that he could take the throne and avert war. Tech,Rev, and Lexi were left at the tower to monitor things and provide support, though when someone seemed to be a step ahead of them it sparked a disagreement between Rev and Tech because of Tech's oride in his own genius. Still they were able to unravel the mystery of their saboteur for Ace and Tweetums was successfully returned home.

Episode eighteen was a serious test of Tech's patience. After saving a pizza chef from his parasite-possessed delivery boy, and examining the biotech parasite, it was revealed that Rev's family was about to arrive for a visit. While unexpected and more than a little short notice, Tech intended to be polite as he had nothing against roadrunners...this however did not go both ways, as Rev's father didn't want to shake his hand and the mother made a comment about him having no leash. Rev tried to apologize for them since they had coyote issues, but Tech was already annoyed and excused himself not quite civilly. Even his lab wasn't safe though, as Rev's parents stopped in as part of their tour and of course the father had to touch things. Then he tried to buy off some of Tech's gadgets claiming they "weren't bad from a coyote", but that aside Tech wasn't interested in selling his gadgets for profit...which prompted the father to think he just had roadrunner issues.

Soon after, Rev came begging for help with a new invention so his father wouldn't be disappointed and Tech agreed even though it also meant putting up with the overly-condescending-to-coyotes attitude of his father more and pretending to be vegetarian. It also meant working on the roof of a house located on top of a plateau, which resulted in much injury and Tech falling off of said roof and plateau, Wile E. Coyote style. But he toughed it out to help his teammate and they created the Robo-Amigo, a popular new kids' toy that Rev's dad would put on the market. When something went wrong with the Robo-Amigos, Rev came back to him for help to fix it and he agreed on the principle of finding out what could go wrong in something he designed. Thankfully he was prepared for the fall this prompted, and was able to deduce that the cause was outside interference.

Rev's younger brother, Rip, was the one behind it due to being under the control of the parasite that had the pizza boy. It was making him act on his resentment toward always being overshadowed by Rev and he attempted to destroy Acmetropolis to get attention. In the end, it was Rev who had to free his brother though.

Episode nineteen began with the Loonatics being called in to capture the Sagittarius Stomper. Tech devised an invention which could liquify the part of the building the Stomper stood on and bring him down, but Duck bumped into him and made him drop the device which liquified several other things. The Stomper was felled, but a reporter mistook it as solely Duck's work, and Duck promptly took all of the credit which annoyed Tech greatly. Even more annoying was the fact that Duck ridiculously downplayed their roles, labeling Tech as the guy they knew to call when the toilet backed up.

While confronting Duck, they caught a news story about Dr. Dare having returned and Tech correctly guessed that it happened when Duck caused his gadget to misfire. They followed the trail to the museum, but Dr. Dare had stolen the shield of Perseus and escaped already. Back at the tower, Duck received flowers with a threatening note before a heavy item almost crushed him. Duck continued to become more paranoid, but no one felt too sorry for him because his being a glory hound brought it on him. When Dr. Dare resurfaced, petrifying the citizens using the shield, it was Tech who saved the day and turned him back to stone. Duck was more than happy to give him the credit for that and the Stomper in hopes he wouldn't be a target anymore, but it really only made them both targets as shown by another bouquet-heavy object-threatening note combo.

Afraid for their safety, Tech and Duck dragged Ace to the prison to make sure the Stomper was still there ad even though he was they weren't reassured, taking a "vacation" into the sewers in hopes of evading him. This failed and the Stomper found them, catching Tech first. Duck surprisingly freed him and then he reminded Duck of his water abilities which bought them time for Ace to save them. It turned out the Stomper's mother had taken his place in prison in a robot of him, so both were locked away.

Episode twenty had little focus on Tech, with him playing a supporting role in the recapture of Massive and solving the mystery of the hunter-for--hire trying to bag Ace.

Episode twenty-one featured a problem born of the fact that certain teammates couldn't leave the things in his lab alone. Rev and Lexi activated his defense system thinking that it was a video game and Lexi inadvertently angered Melvin the Martian, who came to conquer their planet as a result, by damaging his home with missiles. From the start Tech conceded that Martian technology was superior to anything on Acmetroplis and that he didn't know how long they could defend against them. Ultimately Lexi agreed to be his gaming companion for the planet's safety, with Duck's help.

Tech was left to undo the shrinking the Martians had done to most of the city while the others went to save Lexi. The Martians returned and began their shrinking attacks again, so Tech alerted Ace about it and the fact that it was happening in a pattern like a checkerboard. To fix the city he "borrowed" a Martian power source for his own invention, and returned everything to normal. Lexi used his defense system to defeat Melvin, then Tech built a trap designed to discourage Re from touching his stuff.

Episode twenty-two has very little of Tech, as he stays behind to work on side projects while Lexi, Duck, Slam, and Ace take a vacation. He did very quickly get into a physical fight with Rev over who was in charge though. They were still arguing when Duck called for weapon support.

Episode twenty-three, the Loonatics were tasked with the capture of two notorious but ordinary crooks because the fact that they were stealing weaponry made it likely they would eventually attempt to steal a recently discovered rock with the power to strip the Loonatics of their superpowers. ((Note: This episode states that the Loonatics have been protecting Acmetropolis for several years.))

The first attempt was a complete failure when they were tripped up by Officer Pinkster, a childhood friend of Duck's. To make up for it Pinkster offered to help them in the arrest and Duck pleaded his case, which led to failure after failure as well as the media beginning to question whether they were still fit to be heroes. Duck was determined to keep him around though, certain they could help him be great. When Pinkster was hard on himself and was going to leave, the team consoled him and he asked to help them guard the rock the next day.

It turned out that Pinkster was really the ringleader for the two thugs and had been sabotaging things all along. But having realized it by that point Ace had set an elaborate trap to expose and apprehend him.

Episode twenty-four stated that Tech had been trying to expand his skills to not rely as heavily on technology, and he specifically stated that he'd been trying to get out of the lab more. When Zadavia received an invitation for herself and one other to attend a concert by a secret admirer, she decided that it would be Tech who went with her. Duck invited himself though, being obnoxious and stealing Tech's seat and Tech went to the concessions stand rather than cause a scene. He returned just as the band began destroying the concert hall, attempting to protect Zadavia and fight off the musicians with only his powers.

They escaped, though the lead guitarist contacted Zadavia no sooner than they returned to her home, which prompted the Loonatics to try to track him down by checking other venues for scheduled appearances. They came up empty however, but soon received a distress call from Zadaiva and rushed to her aid. She was already gone though, kidnapped by the band, who ordered Tech to make they a specific guitar for her freedom. Tech designed it but added a tracking device on Rev's suggestion and they met up for the exchange, but t was a farce and the band, mannequins under the control of the keyboard player, got the guitar and escaped. Tech realized that the guitar, if charged with Zadavia's power, could be used to manipulate the universe and they quickly figured out where he would appear next to attempt to stop Keyboard Man. Tech was able to take out the mannequins and Zadavia was left behind, but her powers were drained and their enemy escaped into a wormhole to find and ally himself with her brother using the guitar.

Episode twenty-five planet Blanc was invaded, but they didn't learn it until it was almost too late because Duck abandoned his job monitoring communications for a snack run. Rev and Tech stayed behind to monitor things in Acmetroplois while the others went to assist, and seeing unusual activity from wormholes across the galaxy activated the planet's force field. The threat was in the fact that if Blanc was conquered and Tweetums' scepter was taken, the fact that it was the central hub of all wormholes meant the rest of the universe could be easily conquered.

Later Tech was alerted of their ship's return, but the fact that their friends hadn't announced their return immediately made him suspicious. It landed at the railyard and so he and Rev went to investigate, finding Deuce from episode fourteen in possession of the cosmic guitar Tech built. They attempted to capture him, but the guitar was too powerful and they couldn't stop him from activating the army of robots he'd failed to retrieve his last appearance.

Episode twenty-six picked up right where twenty-five left off. Locking onto Ace's signal, Tech and Rev hurried to their aid on planet Blanc and found them in a collapsed chamber. They were tasked with protecting Tweetums while aAce and the others went to save Duck. They actually upgraded Tweetums' servantbots to be able to enter battle as well though, allowing them to save them from certain death. Ace was able to banish Duece, and Zadavia decided it was time to return home with her newly reformed brother where they could rule together peacefully. She also told the Loonatics that they had worked under her as heroed in training, but it was time for them to step up as guardians of the universe. It was also decided that since it was the center of the universe and they could get anywhere they were needed through wormholes, planet Blanc would become their new headquarters.
